  1. Hello Michiko,

First, congratulations on your Avenue Top 40 award! It seems well deserved given all of your interests and accomplishments.

The other reason I am reaching out to you is because Strathcona County is hosting a 3-D exhibit around opioids awareness. Entitled “Opioids Don’t Discriminate: An Interactive Journey”, participants will follow in the footsteps of the 3 characters, “Max”, “Natasha” and “David”, and learn about the decisions they made regarding opioids and how it impacts their lives. This is especially timely given the increase number of opioids overdoses in our community.

Part of the exhibit contains a nourishment area, where community partners and agencies are able to offer informational resources to anyone who is interested.

We would be interested in the Doctors Against Tragedies card set, and if anyone from DAT could attend, that would be even better!

The hours of our simulation run from 9:00 to 7:00 everyday next week and from 9:00 to 9:00 on Wednesday, Nov 7th. We anticipate visits from junior/senior high schools in Strathcona County as well as the general public. Would that work for you and Doctors Against Tragedies?

Please let me know what you think.

    Sam
